A natural evolution of the artist’s signature motif, the Babka Mirror is adorned with the iconic twists, named after the Polish brioche of childhood memories. Their irregular texture evokes the whirl of life, while the generous curves capture the essence of indulgence.

The Babka here takes the form of ceramic tiles, whose arrangement creates a mosaic that is both powerful and subtle. The two tiles, tinted with ancient pigments inherited from a sign-painter ancestor, lend the mirror an irresistible charm.

Each Babka Mirror is carefully crafted as a unique piece - sculpted, dried, and fired in the Di Fretto atelier. More than a mirror, it is a true sculpture, a bold work of art.

Custom versions are available on request, with options like a glazed finish, tailored placement of the colored tiles, or a fully plaster-cast version.
