An iconic motif of Di Fretto, the Babka, inspired by the Polish pastries of Aurélie Fretti’s childhood, takes on a new dimension here. Four Babkas connect, accumulate, and reinvent themselves, forming an imposing piece. Shaped in white chamotte clay, these irregularly rendered twists evoke the whirlwinds of life, while their generous curves capture the very essence of indulgence.

The Babka Tableau explores the concept of accumulation, transforming the Babka motif into a maximalist sculptural work. Soft, diffused light escapes from the top and bottom, enveloping the space in a warm and intimate glow. When unlit, the piece retains its full sculptural presence, its aesthetic transporting us into a world both powerful and poetic.

Each wall light is handcrafted in the Di Fretto studio, making every piece unique. More than a light fixture, it is a luminous sculpture, a work of art with a strong character, where the accumulation of forms meets the poetry of light.
