The Babka Shell is a bold and poetic reinterpretation of Aurélie Fretti’s signature motif, the Babka.

Inspired by the organic curves of a seashell, this sculptural piece evokes a cocoon shaped by waves and time. Its protective silhouette enhances the sensuality of its form while revealing the raw, vibrant texture of the ceramic.

Crafted from dense chamotte white clay, its lines come to life as they catch the light. By evening, they emit a warm, enveloping glow.

Carefully crafted, each Babka Shell is a unique creation, modeled, dried, and fired in the Di Fretto studio. More than just a wall light, it stands as a luminous sculpture - a true work of art with a strong character.
