CYMBALE TABLE LIGHT by Côme Clérino

This lamp is a handcrafted creation, designed and made in Côme Clérino's studio after several months of work and experimentation. Its porcelain shade, inspired by the shape of a cymbal, gives the lamp an elegant and original aesthetic. This minimalist design highlights the subtle transparency of the porcelain, achieved after extensive research on this delicate material. He explored this finesse and translucency to create a series of lamps available in several shade colors. The versions also vary by their bases: one with a sleek and refined stainless steel base, the other with a plaster base.

The shape nods to Italian lamps from the 1960s while reflecting meticulous work on colors and glazing. The final detail, a silver piece featuring a rock imprint from Fontainebleau, adds a poetic and natural touch to the whole. The studio will continue to explore these concepts, regularly offering new editions, particularly through research on colors.

A graduate of the École des Beaux-Arts with honors in 2016, the young Parisian designer Côme Clérino has developed a multidisciplinary practice that challenges the academic definition of painting, integrating photography, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, and installation.
