6/10 Table lamp by Oros.
This table lamp celebrates the intrinsic qualities of wood veneer, including its delicacy and grain. The pear tree veneer was selected in the Paris region from Les Fils de Georges, a company that has been specializing in veneer production for 4 generations. Its name is derived from the thickness of the veneer, namely 6/10ths of a millimeter.
The noble materials and minimalist design of the 6/10 lamp make it a timeless piece. Thanks to a sliding stainless steel system, the veneer sheet moves up and down to adjust the light according to your needs. Easy to use, to be placed on a desk, bedside table, or used as ambient lighting.
It was in 2015 that Laure Amoros founded OROS, with the mission of perpetuating her father's passion for wood. OROS strives to preserve traditional techniques, explore their evolution, and promote contemporary creation while preserving wood species. Each item is made in small series, sometimes on demand, to respond more accurately to demand and encourage responsible consumption.
