The "Ombrellina" ceramic table lamp, a name inspired by the Italian word for "sunshade," is designed by Mattina Moderna. Based in the south of France, this mother-daughter duo infuses the Ombrellina light with their sunny aesthetic.

Handcrafted and hand-painted by skilled artisans in Mafra, Portugal, this piece features beach-inspired patterns, enhanced by a bright cotton shade. The lamp's base, made of ceramic, is a cylinder adorned with yellow and white squares, evoking Mediterranean warmth. Its flat top, painted in light blue, recalls the gentle summer sky. The conical shade, made of pink fabric, is supported by a slender metal rod, adding the final poetic touch.

Mattina Moderna is a French slow design studio founded in 2020, creating collectible objects in very limited series. Adopting a sustainable approach to their creative process, the studio begins by designing its pieces in 3D models, then handcrafts them to order.
