Blurring the lines between sculpture and functional objects, this table lamp is inspired by the shapes of the Cupola house, a visionary work from the 1970s designed by Italian architect Dante Bini. Geometric lines, curves and textures coexist with voids and solids, creating variations of light and shadow through multiple openings in the lamp.
Each piece is sculpted, molded, and fired in a single firing process, at low or high temperatures, without the use of glazing to enhance the textures and colours specific to each clay.
The lamp is electrified through a removable ceramic base with a varnished metal socket and textile cable.
