AR65 Lamp by Disderot.

Presented by Abraham & Rol at the 1965 Paris Salon Des Artistes Décorateurs, this astonishing rattan lamp combines the vernacular rusticity of a traditional lantern with a hint of the exotic.

Janine Abraham and Dirk Jan Rol worked in symbiosis all their life, opening their own agency and creating a number of iconic pieces, such as the sun chair or convertible AR bench. Their influences ranged from the traditional Japanese house to contemporary American architecture.

Designed in 1965 but not put into production at the time, the AR65 lamp is now available for the first time ever.
