BELL CEILING LIGHT by Palefire

Bell ceiling light, Palefire.

With its deep sides covering the bulb, the Bell gives a shaded, atmospheric light. It is designed to also work well in pairs or multiples, for example in kitchens and corridors.

The Bell ceiling light is made in moulded paper pulp, a natural material with its own idiosyncrasies and imperfections. The shade and base are hand-painted in a choice of finishes, four solids and one pattern. The highly tactile surface  adds character and texture to your interior.

Combining a decidedly maximalist approach with thoughtful and sustainable practices, Palefire - named after the Nabokov novel - brings an exuberant artistic sensibility to home design. Their focus on colour play and pictorial surfaces is inspired by historical design movements such as Arts & Crafts and the Omega workshops.

The Bell is manufactured in a family-run workshop in Barcelona, then assembled and hand-painted in the UK. 

Bulb specification : E27 LED (not included). The Bell ceiling light is also available in a pendant version (upon request).
