Freshly graduated from Chelsea College of Art, Charlotte Taylor has many projects on the go, from digital illustrations and set design to sculpture and the physical creation of large-scale installations. She has already received commissions from Liberty London, Mr Porter, Hole and Corner Magazine...
Charlotte Taylor’s illustrations feature both real and fictional spaces. Taylor likes to visit houses like the Villa Cavrois, Pierre Cardin's Palais Bulles, Le Corbusier's Villa Savoie or Masion La Roche... A photo will sometimes provide the starting point, but once the digital drawing process begins, Taylor likes to be free to improvise, adding fictive elements which highlight the peculiarites in perspective and form, creating a kind of utopic space.
Taylor's digital drawings of fictional spaces sometimes develop into large-scale physical installations, which she creates working alongside her Dellostudio co-founder, Oscar Piccolo.
