Based in Milan, Daniel Kolodziejczak is a Polish designer who studied design at Via Design in Denmark and the University of the Arts London. Together with Diana Arce, luxury consultant from Costa Rica, he founded Studio Daniel K. His passion for exploring unknown territories has led him to travel and immerse himself in many cultures, influencing his search for a common sense of timeless beauty.
Having worked for eight years as a jewelry designer in Paris and Milan, Daniel continues his exploration of stone in his new project, Studio Daniel K, focusing on furniture and interior design projects.
His furniture blends references from Brazilian and Italian Modernism with the Brutalism of Poland and the opulence of Paris. Daniel’s creations are rooted in designs that extract beauty from nature. These designs draw upon fundamental concepts of architecture, stripping them down to their core by situating them between the perfection of architectonic geometry and the natural complexity of marbles and woods.
His design philosophy reflects both an eclectic aesthetic and a taste for art and travel.
