Fractall was founded by Arne Desmet, a designer based in Kortrijk, Belgium.
After earning a degree in industrial design and working in the field, he developed a passion for creating sculptural interior objects.
Drawing inspiration from the patterns and textures found in nature, yet fascinated by industrial materials and production processes, Arne Desmet designs pieces that blend both worlds. The studio's ambition is to embrace technological production processes while imparting a sense of humanity to them. Often, the traces of the manufacturing processes are deliberately highlighted, celebrating the materials and the methods that brought each piece to life.
Although the creations possess a sculptural appearance, each object is designed to be fully functional.
