The Rocking Chair is designed to be visually light, almost transparent; the chair swings through an interior space without ever totally concealing it.

Few designers invest their time in creating a rocking chair. Most creators ignore them, considering them redundant. Hannes Van Severen thinks exactly the opposite. "I have always been intrigued by rocking chairs" he says "I had one here at home by the fireplace..."

The Rocking Chair is available with a lacquered green, red or brass frame, and with a seat in either natural leather that will slowly a patina with age, or a 100% linen fabric.
