Margaux Keller has elegantly and harmoniously encapsulated all the values she holds dear in the Mirèio bar stool.

The Mirèio collection is sophisticated, bold, evident, and timeless, and hand made by one of the last French craftchairmakers. Mirèio offers a new take on the traditional straw-bottomed chair, with gentle yet clear-cut curved lines. The high gloss colour version has already established itself as an iconic piece in the brand’s collections.

The Mirèio range is entirely handmade in the pure tradition of straw chairs, within a chair-making workshop established in 1850 in the Landes region. Each stage of production is managed by the workshop itself, from sourcing the wood to turning, machining, sanding, assembling, varnishing, and finally, upholstery and straw weaving. The craftsmen, trained by previous generations, masterfully blend traditional French craftsmanship with modern design. Each piece is unique and signed.

The Mirèio bar stool is ideal for a 90 cm counter height, such as a kitchen worktop (custom height options available upon request) - it also exists in a regular stool version of 45 cm height.

Materials: Hand-turned solid beech or oak sourced from sustainably managed French forests, seat made of natural rope.
